The inspiration for this piece emerged during a challenging winter when I was camping on our farm while building our house. As life took unexpected turns, Frida Kahlo’s strength became my anchor.

Having delved into her life and art through global exhibitions, I was drawn to Frida’s resilience, finding solace in her enduring spirit. This fine art digital illustration, meticulously rendered in minimalist black and white, took many meditative hours to create. Each thin, deliberate stroke brings Frida’s presence to life, symbolizing her unwavering support in the face of life’s unpredictability.
